Penzion Pod Zvonem

A guesthouse with an unusual history

Penzion Pod Zvonem was created by the careful conversion of the deconsecrated Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, built in 1868. The demanding reconstruction was completed by hanging a working bell made by the Dytrych bell foundry from Brodek u Přerova – which is also where the guesthouse gets its name: Pod Zvonem means “Under the Bell”.

The building has kept the silhouette of a chapel, with its bell tower and arched windows that now bring light into some of the rooms.

Rooms

You can choose from double and triple rooms, as well as split-level rooms that are especially practical for families with children. All rooms have a private bathroom with toilet, a TV and Wi-Fi.

An extra bed or cot can be arranged in advance. You will see specific room types, availability and current prices in the online booking system.

Breakfast and lounge

Breakfast is served buffet-style in the guesthouse lounge. During the day you can make coffee or tea here, sit with friends and buy wine, beer or soft drinks. Please ask about the option to add dinner when booking.

You can also go for a hot meal and beer to our Hospůdka U Vleku in the upper part of the village.

Weddings and celebrations in a former chapel

We also hold civil weddings, wedding receptions and family celebrations in the former chapel spaces – including accommodation for guests. You will find more in our stays and events offer.
